🤔 Why "Corpse" with Friends?
The name comes from "Exquisite Corpse" (Cadavre Exquis), a creative game invented by surrealist artists in 1920s Paris. They would fold paper so each person could only see a small portion of the previous drawing, creating wonderfully bizarre composite creatures.
The first sentence they created this way was: "The exquisite corpse shall drink the new wine" - hence the name! We've brought this concept to collaborative storytelling in the digital age.
